You may be eligible for Medicare Rebates with a Mental Health Care Plan obtained through your GP. This entitles you to up to 10 sessions per calendar year and renews on January 1 annually. You will need to share a copy of this with me so that I can provide you with an invoice to claim your rebate.
Please note as of July 1, 2025 the Medicare Rebate is set at $145.25. Please review the table below regarding recommended rates and treatment fees. For clients who are eligible for rebates, your gap payment is $84.75 for each standard 50-minute session.
Students may be eligible for a reduction in treatment fees, however, I have set fees significantly below recommended rates set by the Australian Psychological Society and Australian Association of Psychologists for a standard 50-minute session. I have chosen to do this so that psychological treatment can be made more accessible and within reach to a greater number of individuals.
